Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to guest blog for EdConnective CEO, Will Morris, on Education Week's Start Up Blog. My role at EdConnective is to provide coaching to teachers using videos, which has allowed me to work with teachers from New York and Philadelphia via Chicago. This post provides a recipe for teachers to get students talking about what they are learning. The four steps are especially useful for teachers who find themselves doing lots of direct instruction, or have received feedback that they need to improve in component 3b of Charlotte Danielson's Framework for Teaching.
