Throughout my life, I have been passionate about education, design, and improving the future of our world for all. Whether working with teachers to design project and game based learning experiences, supporting schools to bring community members and programs into classrooms, partnering with local artist and musicians to train them to use new tools, coaching instructors with strategies that engage, challenge, and inspire students, or starting my own company to foster a music based community, I integrate a vision for a better future into my daily life and practice.

EDUCATION
Teachers at a professional development day around assessment where i led a session to review a teacher survey data focused on classroom culture.
Since I was a young person, I’ve recognized the importance of teachers on our society. Once I learned that there are roles to support educators in the classroom, I found my place. When teachers are supported, their students can go further in school and life.

As a founder, I’ve learned that strong, human-centered design enables others to learn more quickly. As the pace of our world continues speed up, the need to design learning experiences is even more important than before.

Throughout my life, I have always sought opportunities to grow and develop as a person. From planning entrepreneurship and coding conferences for 300+ people to facilitating a round table at the Lean Startup Conference and leading a workshop at STEMCON, I seek opportunities to share and learn with others.
One of my guiding principles: Teaching is as much leading, as leading is teaching, because teaching is listening and leaders listen. Read more about some of the ways I lead and work with others.
